The school has a heated indoor swimming pool which all students have the opportunity to swim in during Terms 1 and 4. Students participate in an intensive daily swimming programme with their class during these two terms. Our pool is well maintained and a real asset to the school.

There are after school and weekend swimming classes in our pool taken by Trentham Swim School

Our Treemendous Garden was renamed Hikurangi in 2022 to acknowledge our late Kaumātua Koro Matt Konia. Named after his maunga on the East Coast, the first to see the sun, Hikurangi was constructed with the help of our Trentham community and the Mazda foundation. It is a beautiful native reserve, with flourishing gardens and an abundance of flora and fauna. Our children use it regularly to explore and discover the joys of the natural living world.
